The client already had a strong vision for the form and layout of the building. Working closely together, we developed a contemporary home that embraces the indoor–outdoor lifestyle they were accustomed to in their native New Zealand.

At the heart of the house is a generous central space housing the kitchen and dining area, which opens directly onto a patio complete with its own outdoor kitchen. The living room, guest bedrooms, and utility spaces are all located on the ground floor and are accessed from this double-height central hub.

The master bedroom occupies the first floor, featuring a private balcony overlooking the garden beyond. It is accessed via a sweeping staircase rising from a spacious and welcoming hallway.
